Calibration programme for the actual configuration

The model name alone is not sufficient for a reliable quotation. Detector version, grating, slit, fiber, diffuser, telescope, integrating sphere, attenuator and software settings can change the measurand and the applicable calibration method.

The quotation identifies the accredited quantities, spectral range, calibration points, uncertainty, turnaround conditions and any supplementary non-accredited checks.

Technical characteristics to identify

  • Cooled InGaAs line sensor
  • High sensitivity at low radiant flux
  • Integrated accessory recognition
  • Laboratory and production use

Typical calibration elements

Wavelength scale

Verification against suitable spectral reference features over the agreed operating range.

Spectral responsivity

Radiance or irradiance calibration according to the supplied entrance optics and measurement geometry.

Performance checks

Selected linearity, repeatability, dark signal, bandwidth or stray-light evaluation where technically relevant.

Typical applications

  • Infrared LED measurement
  • VCSEL and laser testing
  • Sensor and emitter characterization
  • Low-level NIR radiometry

Frequently asked questions

Must the entrance optics be sent with the instrument?

Usually yes for absolute radiometric calibration. A diffuser, fiber, telescope or integrating-sphere port may be part of the calibrated measurement chain.

Can LightingLab use the previous correction file?

The previous certificate and correction data are useful for review, but current calibration results are established from the agreed calibration procedure.

Is the 24-hour service genuinely accredited?

Yes, provided the requested quantity and range are included in the confirmed accredited scope and Express availability is accepted before shipment.

Does the service include adjustment or repair?

Calibration, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair are distinct activities. Any available adjustment or additional testing must be agreed separately.
