Dymax ACCU-CAL 50-LED calibration in Europe

Instrument: LED curing radiometer.

For European production and quality-assurance teams, calibration should reflect the actual instrument configuration and its use in the process rather than the product name alone.

Measurement-specific assessment

Why this model needs individual assessment

Narrowband UV LED sources may not be represented adequately by a broadband reference lamp. Spectral mismatch should be considered explicitly.

Details to include with the instrument

Provide the UV LED peak wavelength or spectral distribution, sensor configuration and required irradiance or exposure values.

Practical process consideration

A result at one LED wavelength must not be presented as equivalent to a result at another wavelength without appropriate evidence.

Calibration versus conformity assessment

A calibration reports measurement results and their uncertainty under defined conditions. A pass/fail statement additionally requires a specified tolerance and decision rule, including any agreed guard band. Neither a conformity statement nor accredited coverage is assumed for this instrument.

Manufacturer instrument information

Spectral response: 350–450 nm (manufacturer specification).

Typical application: LED irradiance and integrated dose; blue-visible overlap requires attention.

Manufacturer product information (specification source; not a LightingLab accreditation statement).

Calibration planning

For irradiance, specify wavelength or source spectrum, measuring range, geometry and required reporting units. For dose or radiant exposure, also specify exposure time and integration behaviour. Spectral mismatch between calibration source and process lamp can be material, especially for narrowband LEDs.

Accreditation and feasibility: ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation applies only to the measurement quantities, ranges and methods covered by the laboratory's current accredited scope. Availability for this exact model, sensor, channel and dose function must be confirmed before an accredited quotation. No calibration certificate or performance claim is implied by this page.

Accredited calibration availability is confirmed for the specific instrument configuration, measurand and measurement range against the laboratory’s current scope. No particular model is automatically covered.
